- The medication Tenacid Mf Tablet contains both tranexamic acid & mefenamic acid. This medication aids in reducing excessive menstrual bleeding as well as easing lower abdominal pain and cramps. Mefenamic acid is an anti-inflammatory drug, whereas tranexamic acid is an antifibrinolytic (inhibits the breakdown of a clot and promotes clotting) drug. Take this medication only as your doctor has prescribed. Tenacid Mf should not be taken by anyone who has recently undergone bypass surgery, has a history of excessive bleeding, or any blood coagulation disorders.
