- Latanoprost, an ophthalmic drug used to treat glaucoma and lower elevated eye pressure (ocular hypertension), is included in Lacoma PF Eye Drops 2.5 ml. It can be taken either on its own or in conjunction with other medications that lower ocular pressure. Glaucoma is a condition that can develop from elevated eye pressure and cause permanent visual loss if left untreated (optic nerve damage). The optic nerve is harmed in glaucoma, an eye condition. The abnormal rise in ocular pressure is the main cause of this injury.
