- It is used to maintain or control the symptoms of asthma. Helps prevent the onset of asthma in children aged 12 months to 8 years. Budesonide is included as an active ingredient. It is a steroid and acts as an anti-asthma drug. It helps to control daily symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest pain. It also prevents these symptoms from getting worse. It should always be administered with the help of a nebuliser. A nebuliser is a machine that produces a mist of drug that allows it to easily enter the lungs.
